This policy explains what anilili.app (the website) collects and why. It covers this site only. The Anilili app is a separate piece of software with its own behaviour, summarised at the end.

What the site collects

Information you give us

If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you put in the message. We use it to reply and nothing else, and we do not add you to any list.

Information collected automatically

• Server logs. Our host records standard request data: IP address, date and time, page requested, referrer and user agent. Logs are used for security and troubleshooting and are rotated regularly.
• Analytics. We use a privacy-respecting analytics tool to count visits and see which guides are used. It records page views, approximate location by country, device type and referrer. We do not build advertising profiles with it.
• Advertising. This site may show ads through Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies and similar technologies to serve and measure ads. See the section below.

The site sets a small number of cookies. A full list, with purpose and duration, is on the cookie policy page. You can refuse non-essential cookies through the consent banner and manage them in your browser at any time.

Data sharing

We do not sell personal data. Data is processed by the parties that run our infrastructure: our web host, our analytics provider and, if enabled, Google AdSense. Each acts under its own terms and privacy policy.

Retention

Emails are kept while a conversation is active and for a reasonable period after. Server logs are short-lived. Analytics data is retained in aggregate.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to object to processing, or to withdraw consent. Email [email protected] and we will act on valid requests.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

The Anilili app

The app does not create an account on our servers. Optional sign-in connects directly to AniList or MyAnimeList under their privacy policies. Downloads and settings stay on your device. Support reports are only transmitted if you choose to share one.

Changes

We update this policy when practices change and revise the date at the top. Significant changes will be noted on the site.
