Install Anilili with the Downloader app

Step 1: Install Downloader

Open your device's app store. On Fire TV that is the Amazon Appstore, on Android TV and Google TV it is the Google Play Store. Search for Downloader, the orange icon by AFTVnews, and install it.

Step 2: Allow it to install apps

Before the first install, the system needs permission for Downloader.

• Fire TV: Settings → My Fire TV → Developer options → Install unknown apps → Downloader → ON.
• Android TV / Google TV: Settings → Apps → Security & restrictions → Unknown sources → Downloader → ON. On Google TV it may be Settings → System → Apps from unknown sources.

Step 3: Enter the code

Open Downloader. You land on the Home tab with a URL box. Select it, type 5124691, and choose Go. If you prefer the code dialog, open the # option, enter 5124691 and select Load.

Step 4: Install and clean up

1. Wait for the download

   Downloader shows a progress bar. The TV build is small, so this is quick on most connections.

2. Install

   The package installer opens. Select Install, wait for the confirmation, then choose Done, not Open, so you can delete the file.

3. Delete the APK

   Downloader asks whether to delete the downloaded file. Choose Delete, then Delete again. The app stays installed.

4. Open Anilili

   Find it in your apps list. On Fire TV, long-press its icon and choose Move to front.

Using the full URL instead

If the short code ever fails, type the direct address into the same URL box:

https://huggingface.co/datasets/anilili/anilili-apk/resolve/main/latest/Anilili_tv.apk

That points at the current universal TV build. For phones on a device with Downloader, swap Anilili_tv.apk for Anilili.apk.
