Anilili on Samsung & LG Smart TVs
The honest answer first: Anilili cannot be installed directly on a Samsung or LG smart TV. Here is why, and three ways to still watch on that screen.
Why there is no Tizen or webOS version. Samsung TVs run Tizen and LG TVs run webOS. Neither is Android, and neither lets you sideload an APK. Anilili is an Android app, so it has nothing to install on those systems. Any site claiming a direct Samsung or LG download for an app like this is not telling the truth.
What actually works
Option 1: A small Android TV device (best experience)
A Chromecast with Google TV, a Fire TV Stick, an Nvidia Shield or a cheap Android TV box plugs into a spare HDMI port and runs the real Anilili TV build with a proper remote. This is the setup most people end up with, and it is the one this site is built around.
Option 2: Cast from your phone
Install Anilili on an Android phone, start an episode, and use the in-app cast control to send it to a Chromecast or a Chromecast-built-in TV. Many recent Samsung and LG sets support casting, though playback quality depends on the source and your network.
Option 3: Screen mirroring
Mirror your Android phone or a Windows laptop to the TV with Miracast or Smart View, then play in the app. This always works because the TV only sees a video signal, but it uses more battery and any phone notification shows on screen.
What will not work
- Sideloading an APK through the Tizen or webOS developer mode. That mode is for native TV apps, not Android packages.
- USB installs. The TV will not recognise an APK as an app.
- Third-party TV app stores promising the app. Treat those as unsafe.
Get it on the big screen
A small Android TV or Fire TV device runs the full app with a remote. That is the setup to aim for.
